A pause of breath, and then a sigh. I watch out of this dirty window, I look through the cracks and the strains, I look out to this barren, dead world. The grass is brown and slumped as an old man hunches over his walker. The sky is as red as what hell would be.  Maybe this is hell. I turn, running my tired hands through my greasy hair, feeling the bumps and the scars on my skull. The reminders of what happened, the reminiscence of yesterday, the nightmare I wake up to.
